SYLVAN BEACH FESTIVAL AND CRAWFISH JAM
The La Porte-Bayshore Chamber of Commerce invites you to join in our 54th Annual Sylvan Beach Festival & Crawfish Jam. The date for this year's celebration is April 24, 2010 at Sylvan Beach Park. Booth hours are 9:00am until dark. We anticipate this year's activities to be even bigger and better than before.
Booth participants will be assigned areas of approximately 12' by 15'. The gates will open at 7:00am Saturday for booths to be set up. Set-up must be completed and automobiles cleared from the area by 9:00am to insure that each participant is ready to begin sales when the gates open at 9:00am. It is requested that participants maintain and secure their areas until they leave the park facilities. Participants will be responsible for cleaning their assigned area.
No refunds if Saturday is declared a rain-out.
It is our policy not to limit the number of a particular type of arts & crafts booth. Our "Open Policy" of the past several years has proved to be very successful. Accordingly, restrictions will remain minimal.
Arts/crafts/miscellaneous concessions will be restricted from selling foods and beverages. All participants are requested to restrict sales to those items designated on the registration form. Drug related or obscene merchandise is not allowed and will not be tolerated.
Fees for arts/crafts/miscellaneous booths are $50.00 (cash or money order only) per booth. Admission is $5 from 9:00am-5:00pm and $10 after 5:00pm, $2 for senior citizens, and free fro children 10 and under accompanied by an adult. ADMISSION WILL BE REQUIRED FOR ADMITTANCE TO THE PARK BY ALL PEOPLE, INCLUDING BOOTH WORKERS WHO ARRIVE AFTER 9:00AM ON SATURDAY.
Registration forms should be returned along with your money order or cash by April 16 so that we can choose a location for your booth that will maximize your sales. Check-in will begin at 7:00am on Saturday, April 24. You will receive your location assignment when you check in on Saturday morning.

Vendor booths must be set up completely within the confines of the purchased space of 12' x 15'. Bring your own tables, chairs, awnings, etc.
BOOTH AGREEMENT
We no longer accept checks for booth space, please return your money order in the amount of $ ______________ payable to the La Porte-Bayshore Chamber of Commerce for the rental of a concession area on April 24, 2010 at the Annual Sylvan Beach Festival.
We agree to abide by the rules of the Sylvan Beach Festival committee. We agree to have our booth set up and automobiles cleared from the area by 9:00am on the day of the festival. We acknowledge our responsibility to clean up our area prior to leaving. We agree to limit our sales to the items we have listed above and acknowledge that we can sell NO FOOD OR BEVERAGES, NO DRUG RELATED MERCHANDISE, AND/OR NO OBSCENE MERCHANDISE. We also acknowledge that there is not a limit on the number of a particular type of booth.
